Fawn Workman, NP is both a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has personal experience with the struggle of obesity her entire life. Fawn says, "I know the struggle, I've have been through it, too. And with my personal experience with the chronic disease of obesity, I was frustrated with the inability to obtain access to care without a months long wait, and frustrated when my patients couldn't get the meds I prescribed!"
Fawn previously started Lifesong Health as a practice for mental health care and saw many patients with psychiatric meds or anxiety or depression not be able to get meds for their obesity. She pursued additional education in obesity care, and has a commitment to helping break down stigma and the barriers to care.
